New-U-Nutrition is run by Jayne Byrne who spent 3 years training with CNM (The College of Naturopathic Medicine) in Dublin where she gained her Diploma as a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist.
In Feburary 2009 Jayne finished her training with The Eating Disorders Resource Centre of Ireland and has become a fully qualified Eating Disorders Specialist.
Jayne has spent time teaching nutrition in drug rehabilitation centres and giving talks on nutritional health in children and also on the connections between food mood and mental health. She also sits on the committee of IANT (The Irish Association of Nutritional Therapists) one of the main regulating bodies for NT in Ireland.
Starting out as an Art Historian and working towards a PhD it was her own ill health that brought her to work with food as a medicine as an alternative to harsh drug therapy. On regaining her own health, using food and dietary supplementation, Jayne decided to train professionally so that she could pass this knowledge on to her clients and help them regain their lost health and vitality.
Jayne works in consultation with her clients to develop a personal program which is as individual as the clients themselves. The client moves at their own pace taking on board only what they can manage - one step at a time - as they progress towards achieving their health goals and aspirations.
